Kurt Kinetic Road Machine technical question

Hi
I was hoping someone with experience of a KK road machine might be able to advise. I recently purchased one from an online company and had a query. Having put it together, there seems to be a fair bit of lateral movement in the resistance unit due to the yoke being narrower than the bit of the frame it screws in to. No amount of bolt tightening can remedy this resistance unit 'wobble'.
My question is whether this is normal for this type/ make of turbo trainer? The company I purchased it from have not responded to my emails & I'm a bit twitchy about this stuff having been misfortunate enough to have to send my last two turbos back under warranty due to faults (a different make) .
Any advice would be warmly appreciated,
Cheers

Do you mean the big black plastic part of the resistance unit that sits on the coach bolt running through the supporting metal frame? If so, the one in my KK Rock and Roll is the same, you can rock that from side to side a fair bit, I think it's inherent in the design. Once the roller is up against the wheel and tension is applied the whole thing should be rock solid.
Our KK saw a lot of action over the winter and it's a great piece of kit. Only one thing went wrong, and that was the supplied QR had a bit of a flimsy lever - that was sorted out in no time.0 -
Yeah, that's it. That's reassuring. Thanks. I guess I'm just a bit paranoid about it given I had a shed load of problems with my CycleOps (until Wiggle refunded me).
