Hair today...

So, I thought it'd be a good idea. I thought it was all under control. Just a quick trim, just to reduce the effect of leg hair sticking up through Lycra. Turns out that was a stupid thing to think...

So yeah. The missus is now picking up some disposable razors for me and I'm taking the plunge. Because otherwise I'd have bald patches on my legs. censored .

epilady only hurts on long hair. do it on hairs less than 2 or 3 mm long and its not painful at all.

The deed is done. Not sure I can be bothered with the fuss again! Awkward bloomin' thing to do.

Venus! A lot less cuts than a disposable and a lot smoother. Or tweezers, if you have a lot of spare time.

Never seen such a load of rubbish. If you want to shave your legs, be a man, use a blow torch
  • giant_mangiant_man Posts: 6,890
its only the people who have never shaved their legs that down it, if you did try it - just once, you would think differently. I am probably the hairiest bloke on here, and I always used to dismiss it as 'nonsense' but it's only when i started shaving that I realised the benefits. It's just so much better imo

I'm yet to go for that second shave, not too sure tbh. Definitely looks better with Lycra and my whole adventure started with an attempt to stop furry Lycra syndrome so I've achieved that aim. But I'm 44 years old; this is still very alien to me!!

What do the other halves of those who shave say about it? My missus would be mortified and angry when I blocked the plug hole.

Mine prefers how it looks, initially she lent me the epilator for a laugh, hoping I would scream like a baby - she was mostly disappointed.
