Hi there, my partner is looking to buy a new bike she likes the look of the Ribble R872 but she is only 5ft 2. The sizing guide says 46cm is the smallest they do and they it suits riders 5ft4 -5ft6. Yet i have measured all the her currant bike and apart from the BB to centre the Ribble is smaller. She currantly rides a 44cm Cinelli. Can anyone help.

The effective top tube length is more important - check out that dimension on the Ribble compared to what she is curerntly riding (small adjustments [1cm] can be made by changing the stem but its very limited)

lol, he's already done that!! the mrs here!! 28/29 ins, really frustrated, i really want that bike, on the cinelli we swapped the stem(not sure if its 60 or 70cm) and turned the seatpost, 8,000 miles later im ready for an upgrade.
Cheers for any info or if anyone has one that i could try to get my leg over, as it were!!
