What's next for colour schemes...?

I think most of us would agree that Black, Red and White has been done to death.
White, whilst pretty, is mostly unwise and a bugger to keep clean.
Matt or gloss black for carbon bikes, is all a bit predictable
Neons are something of an acquired taste.
So what's the 'NEXT BIG THING', when it comes to an ubiquitous colour scheme for road bikes?

If Wales was flattened out, it'd be bigger than England!

Actually, white is the easiest colour to keep clean. But it isn't so easy to keep looking clean - two different things! I've owned both black and white bikes and that makes it obvious which is the easiest to keep clean!
Interesting question though. We'll probably be stuck with red, white and black forever but hopefully matt black will deservedly disappear out of fashion as soon as possible. Dingy, dull, bland and very hard to keep clean - it has nothing going for it at all.Faster than a tent.......0 -

I can see a time when buyer choose their own colour schemes rather than just buying stock colours.0

According to Spesh we will want blue, green, white, red or orange.

Trek are turquoise .I will not have the brand associated with Celeste. Shame for even suggesting it!!
I would like to see twin tone pealescent paint on more bikes (if its ever been done before) with different colours depending on the viewing angle.0 -

Trek has announced that models starting from the 4-series (used to be 6 series) will be available under their 'Project One' scheme where you can pretty much do exactly that.0 -

I vote multicolour too. Why having an one color bike after all. The best would be thought,if we could change the color of the frame to match our clothes .. :P0 -
