Does anyoneknow if the CR1 Pro is the same framset as the lower spec models (Team,Comp)?

Just had my cr1 frame replaced under warranty and got a cr1 pro frame as it was the only one left in my size. Cr1 pro frame has a press fit bottom bracket rather than an external bottom bracket. Looks a lot better in my opinion. I'm very happy with the result, just need to change all the other bits now :)

AKAIK yes, it is. There's only two frames. That and the SL.

Ok, thanks fellas. Slightly worrying that the frame had to be replaced. what was wrong with it? The Pro should be a decent frame as it is made by Giant AFAIK.

It's made in the same facility as many many framesets are but the design and layup are are done by Scott.

How a lot of manufacturing is done and none the worse for it. I wasn't trying to imply Scott are inferior in some way or I wouldn't be contemplating buying one.

There are two versions of the CR1 Pro: one with a threaded BB and one with a PF86/91.

Pretty sure my 2013 Team has a press fit BB and cups to take the 105 chainset. Here to be shot down though :P
