Am off here for a week soon on holiday and thinking i'll take the bike with me.

Looking for some good route ideas without having to trawl t'internet myself - very lazy you see

Still not sure if i'll take the road bike or maybe mtb and trailer to take sprogs out with me so if there are good cycle paths that'd be of interest too.

Thanks :D

The website is currently down but the Cycle West network was launched last week & includes that section of coast.

It could be a fairly sprog friendly route, although if it takes you on the lanes, less so.

Otherwise take the roadie and cycle across the Jurassic coast, head over the ranges and head to the Square and Compass pub at Worth Matravers and down to Swanage. Make sure you take on Kingston Hill ;)

Here is a ride I did towards Swanage, not sure how closely you can look at it. I would avoid the a532 and try to stay on the coast into Upton > West Chaldon, alhough not done it before, I'd use that google thing to look at the roads

Go for KOM on the climb up into Portland, it's not steep I hear
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
