Ultegra Upgrade Assistance

Wotcha Peeps,
Need a bit of sound advice please, I've slowly converted my Giant TCR from a mixture of Tiagra & 105 to Ultegra apart from two remaining items being shifters and brakes. I have upgraded the original spec Tekro brakes to Orbea that apparently are a 105 standard and have to agree that they are streets ahead! My plan is to upgrade the shifters to these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-ultegra ... lever-set/ but have researched and discovered a conflict that says the shifters need to work on conjunction with Ultegra brakes that may relate to lever travel??
Please could you verify the above please.

I read the same thing on the Wiggle site which is why I bought 105 brakes (to go with my 105 shifters) instead of the Ultegra calipers I was going to get. But a lot of people say it doesn't matter and they'll work fine.0

The Ultegra 6700 shifters use the same pull ratio as DA7900 (3:1 I believe) and the calipers will be matched accordingly. Thanks Murph, that's extremely helpful and will get a set ordered up later today, cheapest I saw were Wiggle & Halfrauds at £44.99 per single item!. It's been available at around that price for ages from Merlin. I can't remember exactly what I paid 18-20 months ago but it was around that price.0
