Sportive bike required

Hi all
In the market for a new sportive road bike. Have up to £1500 (cheaper if possible) to spend and would like 105 group. Any recomendations

Yep - do a bit a googling so you know what brands / models you are looking at.

use search facility on this forum to find oodfles iof threads discussing the relative merits of them

have a look at them in the flesh in a bike shop to see what you really like the look of

get a test ride on your short list

come back here with any specific questions if tyhere is soemthing you are unsure of

buy the one that fits best / suits your budget / looks best, roughly in that order.

Dolan Hercules SL with 105 and Kysrim Equipes should be about £1500. But the world is your oyster really, go to a bike shop, try a few and get some advice.

A lot of the big manufacturers will be bringing out their 2014 models in the next month or so, so there will be bargains to be had with the 2013 models.

Trek Madone 3.1 £1,500 RRP. Should be able to get a couple of hundred off that.

It's a mixture of Shimano 105 and Tiagra though with a SRAM chainset so doesn't really meet the ops requirements.

Pauls Cycles are currently doing the Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105 (2012) for £1379.99, it has a FSA chainset but other than that full Shimano 105.

Hell of a frame and reasonable wheels at this price, only available on 54, 56 & 58cm.
