Talk to me about Garmin mounts

I've a garmin 605. The mount is crap. every few months the plastic toggle snaps off leaving the ~£6 chunk of plastic useless.

What other mounts work with the 605? I've had a bit of a look but for some reason what's out there isn't really obvious to me.
Ultimately I'm quite happy with the functionality of the garmin mount (shape, how I mount it), but not with the amount of money I regularly fork out to replace it.
Thanks,

Just be grateful it's only the toggle that broke on yours, my whole mount disintegrated and put my 705 under a passing car.0 -
Awaiting replies to this thread with bated breath because the release toggle snapped on my mount today.0

http://www.racewaredirect.co.uk/ suposedly made an adapter to enable x05 Garmin items to be used with the new mounts.
Unfortunately, it seems the URL doesn't point to anything any more. http://www.racewaredirect.co.uk/#/shop/ ... 05/4708654 Might be worth contacting them to see if they still exist.0 -
Apparently the adapter they made couldn't support the weight of the 705 so was withdrawn and they're working on a better solution. Last I saw some samples were being sent out but not heard anything since.0

I had come across that today & may be what I end up going with. I'd prefer something that allows the garmin to be mounted directly on the stem though.FCN 9 || FCN 50
