Need some advice on new parts for new frame!

Got given an immaculate (basically brand new) boardman team carbon 2010 off my grandad.
Love the frame and forks but I'm wanting to upgrade and make it mine.
I've got 1500 quid to spend and I was thinking along the lines of;
Ultegra groupset
Mavic ksyrium elite wheelset
Zipp Carbon seatpost
Zipp Service Course Bars and Stem (alu)
Conti GP400s tyres
And little other odds and ends to finish it off.
I already have my saddle and pedals to put on.
If anyone else has any better suggestions I'd be super grateful for them
Dan.

Oh no, see all those worms scurrying for cover
The world of wheels is such a hot potato of opinion I have decided to abstain from recommendation.
There will be a myriad of folk along shortly, some advocating the Mavics, others advocating other factory products and those of the handbuilt persuasion.
The only answer is there is no single correct answer.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
If the groupset is SRAM Rival I'd keep that over Ultegra, but thats just me Mines never missed a beat and I love the clean lines and separate brake and shifter levers....Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0

I know what you mean, I've looked and looked and read endless reviews and they seem to be the ones which people sway towards but I'll keep looking!0 -

Had Sram force on my old bike, I liked it but didn't love it. And stepping down doesn't make sense. I do like shimano stuff though0
