If you had the choice of a Cervelo s5 vwd with ultegra di2 or a Colnago c59 with mech ultegra both costing the same money what would you choose and why. I can't decide between the two, it will be used for general cycling over rolling terrain(nothing too steep) anything from 1 to 4 hours.

For that sort of money I'd go with something a bit special. Custom or Cipollini springs to mind.

Out of those two I'd go Colnago, but that's just because everyone and their grandmother rides Cervelos (still nice bikes though).

I have both. If I had to choose, then I would keep the Colnago.

The Cervelo is notably lighter, but that's about it. The HT is a bit on the high side and it has the BBright BB (still not sure what is wrong with BSA !)

I really enjoy riding the C59, did 92 miles on it today with 7k feet of climbing, no issues on comfort.

Ultegra is all anyone really needs
    Yellow is the new Black.

They are two very very different kinds of frames. What are you hoping to get from them compared to what you are riding now?

I would generally ride between 20-60 miles, 20 miles during the week at nights and longer at the weekend over olling terrain. I don't race but when I'm out I go flat out for the 20 mile runs and a slower pace for the 60. Looking for speed with a bit of comfort.

Colnago. Especially if it's in this colour scheme...

I'd drive a truck over a box full of Cervelo frames to get to one of these.

THAT particular colour scheme you won't get hold of, cos that was the prototype for the art decor in orange, but you can get a similar colourscheme without the hand airbrushing.

Cervelo or Colnago? Once you have ridden a C59, you wouldn't want any Cervelo imo.

Do you have experience of riding the c59, if so can you give a brief review.

I'd leave both of them alone and get a Felt AR4 :)
