Hi
I've stumbled across the Norwegian site http://www.sprty.no with some great prices. But has anyone had any experience with them, good or bad, especially regarding shipping a bike to the UK.
Thanks!

Given that a beer in Norway costs about £10, I'd have though that the likelihood of a Norwegian online supplier being competitive would be minimal!Faster than a tent.......0

Hi, Sprty.no is no scam. It is a start-up focusing on a few different quality brands that we are able to sell to low prices because of a very lean organization and set up. We think many consumers want to make a good deal and are capabel of assemble the products themselfes. Therefore we focus on unassembled products.
Our main focus in this initial phase is the Norwegian market. We have not yet established any direct outside of Norway. However, we want to see if we can find som ways to handle this.
We asked our technical supplier of the 9 redirects mentioned in this tread. But they cant see any redirects. VTech: If you could explain how you identified the redirects that indicates that the site is a scam we would be very thankful if you coud provide us with some more information. You can send us an email: infoATsprtyDOTno0 -
Yes of course, I will email you when I get home later this evening.
The redirects however are from LA, California, USA. This could be your name server. I wont put them on here for obvious reasons but ill add them to an email.Living MY dream.0 -

Actually, although in many cases this is absolutely correct there are some exeptions to this rule in the Norwegian cycling market despite the 25% sales tax. One example I can offer is that one of my local bike shops has the 2013 Cannondale CAAD 10 105 priced at 9990NOK or £1117 which is less than Evans sells it for. There were also some very good prices I saw the other day on Storck frames/bikes which appeared to be lower than the UK prices and even less than the German sites were advertising them for - for example the Storck Scentron Di2 is £3117 while S-tec has it for £3662. It is worth checking the Norwegian prices but I am not sure about delivery costs etc. The tax should also work to advantage as the UK sales tax rate would be lower than the amount already included in the sales figure but this would have to be checked.0
