Workstand

Can anyone recommend a good workstand for use with road, mountain
& kids bikes and not too expensive, around £100 ish.

There is only one to buy and that is the Rayleigh one (as linked at Merlin, above). Apart from the professional Park one, everything else is a flimsy toy in comparison.

I've had one of these for a few years now - great bikestand for the money and solid as a rock.

Me too had my road and hybrid bikes and the kids MTBs on it and it's fab - can be got on ebay for a similar price if you can't wait for next Lidl cycle promo.
