The rumbling sound of someone's else disc wheel who is about to catch me in a time trial0

Any click or screech that is intermittent - you know you'll never find the source without spending too much money.0

The sound of bikes crashing.0

I can second this advice. Just done the same. Pedal not tight enough and a bit of lithium grease and noise-be-gone.
Great! Thanks for the advice fellas, I'll give it a try when I get home from work!0 -
Deffinately agree on BB30 creak!
Also hate the sound of a car sitting behind after about the 3rd perfectly adequate place to pass me.0 -
Found a new one last night.
The "Bzzzzz" coming from the bug that just flew into your ear and is now seemingly taking up residence in your brain.
GETITOUT...GETITOUT...GETITOUT!!!!!!!!!!0 -
That ping when you pull on something and a cable snaps.
This noise is somewhat more harrowing when you only have one cable on the entire bike and it is for your only brake :shock:0 -
When my carbon bike exploded like a bomb when hit from behind by a hit and run driver :evil:0
-
The clunk from the frame as a pothole forces your saddle up your bottom. :shock:0
-
The crunch of a dropped chain at the start of a climb. . . mostly because it was entirely my fault for not changing gears sooner!0
-
clickitty-click-click-click-clickitty-clickitty- click-click-thunk.
and then I know one of the silly clumsy people at work has smashed my rear derailler while trying lock their bike up next to mine and i know i am going have to straighten the hanger and index AGAIN!0 -
Spokes snapping :x0

My least favourite sound is the complete silence that follows losing control of the bike and leaving the ground. Soon to be followed by a selection of crashing, pinging, squelching and snapping sounds as bike and rider land in a heap.
Second least favourite is the tinkling sound of the rear mech hitting the spokes. Most recently when I fell off while clipped in at the end of the drive and was too embarrassed to abandon the ride. Only discovered I'd bent the mech hanger when I got to the first proper hill and couldn't use the 2 biggest sprockets :shock:0
