Road tyres for a Croix de Fer

Hi, does anyone know how thin you can go for road tyres on the above?

I'm guessing 28's (was going to go for Gatorskins)...would they fit?!

    ANything will fit, including 23 mm

    i've got 25s (Continental Contacts) on mine - great bike.

    I use 28mm continental 4 seasons, a bugger to get on, but they roll nicely and work really well.
