Morning all,
Any advice gratefully recieved:
Halfords are currently selling the Carrera Subway Hybrid for £250 whilst the Raleigh Altare and Raleigh Citadel are £150 each.
I commute to work most days; it's roughly a 6 mile round trip. I don't cycle much more than that although I'll maybe "get into it" a bit more once I have a new bike and the days get warmer.

Is it worth me forking out the extra £100 for the Carrera (will I notice the difference) and if not which of the two Raleigh bikes is "better" (whatever "better" is!)

Many thanks for any guidance
Matt

    Anyone?
  • I would go for the carrera, they are pretty nice to ride, I used to have one before it got nicked. The Raleighs dont look too great, will be really heavy and have shoddy components which will probably wear out quickly on regular use

    Thanks for that. Much appreciated
  • Go for the Carrera as those Raleigh bikes aren't that great.
