Which size zefal pump for medium defy 1

I've been looking for a decent pump for a while. I'm not too worried if it's frame mount as I have my topeak mountain morph mounted on my MTB (it's a bit bulky for the road bike though) and don't want to spend 15 minutes using a small pump to get up to 100psi.

After reading reviews, the zefal HPX always seems well regarded. They have 4 different sizes and I don't know which one to go for. From what I can see, I think the BB to seat-tube on my medium defy 1 2013 is 50mm so size 3 may be the right one.

I'd be mounting it on the downtube next to the bottle cage (probably using a doodad velcro strap) as I have 2 bottle cages mounted.

Would size 3 be the right one?

Are there any other pumps that will inflate quickly to a high pressure that I can carry on the bike (another one I possibly looked at was the lezyne micro floor drive hpg)?

Alas, I believe they have stopped making these excellent pumps.

Not too many of them around anymore but they are still being made. http://www.zefal.com/en/traditional-pum ... assic.html One of the best road pumps ever. I still have one that has survived 20 yrs and many ham fisted users that I mistakenly loaned out to on the roadside. Not sure if the OP is aware but the pump has a spring compression fit to the frame and is usually mounted below the top tube wedged against the seatube and headtube. Can also be mounted on the inside of the seatstay or along the seatube between the BB and toptube. They are a little big to try strapping to a downtube but not impossible.

Stick to your Topeak brand. You can get a Road Morph to clip in beside a bottle using a Blackburn clip available separately.

As you will already know, those Topeak pumps are excellent. With the hose connector you don't damage the valve and because it's like a mini track pump you can get a full 100psi by bracing the pump to the ground using the footpeg for added security. I've used mine a handful of times and it's superb. It doesn't take long to get full pressure back into a 25c tyre and it's only about 50g heavier than the Lezyne equivalent (the Road Drive, also excellent but a higher price).
