Cyclocross bestbuy < £1000

Hi Everyone, I am researching which Cyclocross bike to buy and would be gratefull for any advice. I will be doing mostly road and light MTB trials and have previusoly had Trek bikes. I have up to £1000 to spend and have so far looked at the Trek Crossrip Elite and Cannondale CAAD Tiagra. Any thoughts?

    I'd look at Planet X eg the uncle john, Merida, Ridley or at the Boardman cross from Halfords. At just over your budget you can get a decent Kinesis from Fat Birds too.

    Push the budget a little and you could have a PX Dirty Disco, thats what I'm looking at once funds allow.

    Dunno about the others - but I'm very happy with my UJ. It's fast on the road and can do the offroad with ease.
