Revelation RL oil leak?

Hi all

Just recently bought some 2012 Revelation RL dual air forks and there seems to be some oil coming out from the top of the left leg lower where the grey seal is. There also seems to be some oil being left on the stanchions.

Anyone got any ideas what this could be?

Are the forks new, or used? A little bit of oil is not unusual, but if it keeps happening then seals need replacing.

Got them new about a month ago. It seems more than a little. I wiped them down earlier and then did Cannock and they were covered in oil again.

The trouble is, I got them from a German site so not so straight forward to send back and I don't think SRAM take warranty issues from the public. If its cheap enough to fix it could be cheaper than posting abroad.

I'd ride them for a bit longer. From new a lot of oil can be in the seals.

I did wonder if it was just some excess from the seals. I'll give it another few weeks. I have a big ride in two weeks so I'll look again after that.

Is there any oil in there that if runs dry will do some damage?
