Anywhere else to look for 2nd hand bikes?

I've been looking to pick up a second hand bike for around £3-400 and have been checking ebay, gumtree and on this forum, is there anywhere else I could look?

    LBS as might have an idea of who locally is selling a bike
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    trail centers tend to have a few for sale posters up

    and what about local mtb clubs

    I'm 6 foot 2, but my dad is 5' 11, depending on sizes I may be in the market for both of them :)
