Please could you recommend a pair of glasses/sunnies with the RX inserts for under £100.
Also, where's best to get the RX inserts done.
Many Thanks

if you'd rather get the inserts done somewhere else any optician should be able to do them for you with a current prescription.0 -
I've got a pair of BBB Optiview (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/bbb-optiview-sport-sunglasses/) that I use for commuting and had for 3 years or more, they come in well under budget with the RX inserts and have been a good buy. As cyclinggooner says any optician should be able to do it with your prescription, I got mine done at Specsavers.

I got my RX inserts glazed from here http://www.ciliaryblue.com/
Was very easy to use, was good service and at £15 was alot cheaper than the high street, I recall specsavers wanted £50 and vision express wanted £110 for the same thing!0 -
Thanks for the advice0

I have a pair of Adidas Evil Eye half rim pros with rx inserts and they are superb. I really cannot fault them. Got them from extreme eye wear online - (substantially cheaper than local optician!)0

I bought a pair of sunglasses I just liked the frames of and then sent them to this company http://www.ineedspex.co.uk/category?id=16/replacement-lenses/ and they fitted new lenses to my prescription and spec this took away the need to have the rx inserts.
These are also worth looking at too:

Just as a cheap alternative, I've been using these for the last 6 months and they're great, no problems whatsoever! Basically I bought a pair of Chinese 'Oakleys' from Ebay for £25, they came with 5 different lenses. I then bought a super cheap pair of standard glasses from an online retailer for £35. I took the lenses out of the glasses and used Blu-Tak to fix them to the 'Oakley' frame. Obviously the lenses are not as good as proper Oakleys, but I've been really happy with them. The glasses lenses are in just the right position for me when my head is down on the bike, I don't have to crane my neck to see through the prescription part.
Just putting it out there as an alternative.
Edit: Obviously you could buy some genuine Oakleys and do the same thing, saving a fortune over the prices Oakley charge for their Rx series. That's what I plan on doing when/if I have some spare cash.0 -
One more recommendation for insert glazing at Ciliaryblue, great price and service.0
