Components disposal

Not sure where to ask this...what's the done thing with disposing of old worn parts these days like chains and cassettes? I'm guessing you don't just chuck them in the general waste bin?

    Personally, I put stuff like that into the box 'o dead things for the tip, where they end up in the (hopefully!) correct bin next time I go.

    Always worth putting it in the metal box at the tip or at least asking. Careful they don't try and charge you for getting rid of it though (joke)!
