Just wondering if anyone on here has any idea about the sizing of Cube Peloton bikes or Agrees. I have been told that 56 cm is perfect size for me but there is a 58 cm available that is perfect. Does anyone know of any owners that are around 5'9" height that are on a 58 cm frame and do they have the seat up a good bit. I notice on the geometry charts there is only 20 mm difference in the tube that the seatpost is fitted in so feel that shouldn't make too much difference. In the Ape test my arm span is slightly longer than my height.

Hi, in general you need to go one size up. I'm 6ft, my first bike a Spesh Allez was a 56cm, my Agree GTC Race is a 58.

    If it helps

I am just under 5'11"and I have the 58cm 2012 Agree Pro which does fit me pretty well. I wouldn't want to go any bigger though as I think I could have ridden the 56cm Cube as well

However, I believe it might well be too big for anyone your size. I think the 56cm frame would suit you better. But as always, sit on both and make the decision that way.

I have 2 Cubes; my second Aerial and a 4-year old Litening, so we're talking different bikes, but my experience is the Cubes are sized farily well. Both mine are 58cm, but the Litening is more compact-ish. I'm 183cm, 6ft less a smidgeon. At 5'9", IMHO you're a 56cm man, but of course you should swing a leg over one first. Great bikes though, and Cube the company have been helpful to me over the years.

I am 6 foot 2 and ride a 60 and I'd say I'm on the upper limit of heights for that. I think 58 would be big for you though! Are you a able to try it before you buy?

I had a Cube Peloton Race 2012 version. I got a Medium 56cm which was about right for me, I am 5'10" with normal proportion arms and legs (32" inside leg). I had about 6 inches of seat post petruding, The Peloton has quite relaxed angles so there medium frame can fit a good range of people, best bet would be to pop to you local Cube dealer if you have one nearby and go for a spin.

Thanks for all the advice guys. That confirms any doubts I had, I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for a 56 cm to come along. Living in Shetland, popping in to a Cube dealer is not an option so I will go on all the advice I have received here. Supermurph09, thanks for the Bike Science chart, that is a handy piece of info. :D

Well I have just ordered an agree race today. I am 5ft 7 and with an inside leg of 31.5in and went with the 53 on the guys recommendation in the shop today. Although now I'm not sure if I should have gone with the 56. I think I am kind of inbetween sizes and on the cube website come out as a 55 so maybe I should have gone for the 56.

I have been measuring geometry on my Giant defy (size M) and trying also to best match that and things come out closer on the 56. Have also done the Ape test and comes out +8cm so therefore recommends a larger size.

Thinking now to ring them tomorrow and change the order. Any ideas?

I ride a 54 van nicholas, and 54 felt, and at 5'9.75" find the 56 cube agree gtc too small (i bought one online and ended up giving it to the mrs), as am more comfortable on a 58.

Defo try before you buy if you can, or at least map your current geometry against the cube.
