Wheels Mavic or soul

Been looking at a new wheelset for the road bike and the LBS told me to go for some Mavic Ksyrium Elite but i can only really afford the Equipe. I'm also looking at a set of Soul S2.0 wheels that are silly light and have good reviews and are cheaper from someone on a website selling them. My question is 'How good are the Souls compared to Ksyrium Equipe and anyone know why i shouldn't get the Souls' or should i try to afford the Elites?? Ahhhhhhhhh help its doing my head in.
