im looking for a bike computer with cadence works with a chest strap and shows speed and distance.idealy the speed and cadence sensor should be on the back wheel so I get feed back on the turbo. any ideas not looking to spend a fortune either

If you are putting the sensors on the wheel, you are doing it wrong! As for the magnets, not much point in putting the magnet for the cadence on the back wheel.......Faster than a tent.......0 -

This looks like what you are after, you have worded everything, including the title, a little bit wierdly.
The magnet for cadence goes on the crank arm and rear spoke I think. And the HRM goes on a chest strap. The Garmin itself can go on your handlebars. Pair them all together and you can see the cadence/speed/HR all on the Garmin.

don't need a chest strap for cadence.
cadence works with magnet on cranks passing sensor on frame, normally on chainstay. magnet for speed often uses same sensor on chainstay.
i had a cateye unit that cost about £20
i f you want a unit that does hr as well, i like my garmin 800.--

opps the chest strap is for heart bpm cadence will be crank arm magnet and rear stay, speed sensor can go on the rear wheel and rear stay (I think) wired wold be better in terms of cost £150 quid way outa my league0

i don't know of any really cheap cadence monitors with hr. is hr important to you?--
