I've decided to get into road biking for fitness and racing, and am debating between the 2013 CAAD10 105 or Rival model. I do know the 5 (rival) comes with a better wheelset and crank, but can anyone tell me the other differences between the two models and if it is worth investing and getting the Rival model. I demo-tested the 105 and know the difference between the double tap and double-lever system on the levers/brakes. But what are other differences between the two models, and which 2013 set of components are better/lighter? (regardless of doubletap vs doublelever action) ? Is the wheelset on the Rival model a good set of wheels, or am I better off just buying the 105 model and buying a new wheelset in a few months? Any other comments are appreciated. And obviously as a new rider the 105 model is already a VERY good setup for someone looking to get into cat 5 road races and crits, but will I appreciate the more expensive Rival model more, and why?
