Hi everyone,
I'd really appreciate your help!
I'm helping a UK charity explore how many cyclists or triathletes would like to take part in an overseas event - and why you're motivated to do so.
I'd be really greatful if you could complete a very short survey (it'll takes less than 5 mins!)
To complete the survey please go the the following page

Thanks for your help.

Wiggle do a trip to France to do a Sportive twice a year. They seem popular as they sell out quickly.0

Lots of people already do rides like the Marmotte and Maratona, so I'd say the demand is there.0

Done. I really fancy doing the Maratona but can't plan that far in advance to try and get a normal entry and the all-inclusive packages are pricey + you still have to get there which looks like a bit of a hassle to.0

Survey done. I would love to do an overseas event and will plan it in one day (Eroica springs to mind). No chance of any charity being involved though as a) I don't like tapping up friends/colleagues to support my hobby and b) I can't see how me doing what I normally do (as in riding a bike) is likely to get friends/colleagues digging deep anyway.0

This is one of the biggest sportives in France;

70 and 120km, timed or untimed.
Easy to get to, just hop on Brittany Ferries, then about 1 or 2 hours drive.
All proceeds go to charity.0 -
I did the 1st Gran Fondo Roma last October.
Raised 5k for my local cancer hospital and the ride felt like a great achievement so I'd definitely reccomend doing one!
Can't do anything this year though. Came off a few weeks ago & broke my hip!chris0
