    I did question the cold air being a BHG problem. Glad I took it to my mechanic!

    Yeah, I think I was lucky I didn't seize the engine up, but it should be fine now. I'll just check the level for the next couple of weeks to check it's all sorted.

    Sadly it's been needing TLC for the last couple of years. I've spent more than £2k on it over the last 3 years, and I've only owned it for 3 years. I think this will be the last MOT I'll put it through (which is due in a few weeks)

    Yeah low coolant... air lock etc just it's a typical sign of BHG. Not always but better to get it checked because it is a typical sign was what I was getting at. As in... if you have severe chest pains it is a typical sign of a heart attack so you better get it checked. But it may not be that bad... Lol
