New Headset Advice?

Im looking at getting a new headset from superstar components but im not sure if i can just put this new headset on my bike as it has sealed bearings and my stock headset doesn't my bike is a trek 4500 4 series and the stock headset is bontrager any advice?

    good chance you will need to remove the old headset and have the new one pressed in.

    what type of headset is fitted? see parktools for the different types.

    i've got a 2012 trek 4500 and its an fsa headset on mine with semi intergrated bearings i think.

    if unsure take your bike to LBS for fitment.
