first time poster hear on wheels
71kg club rider

just wanting to say a big thankyou to all the posters re bike wheels especially ugo & cycleclinic, read so many posts before finally ordering my wheels 24h front & 28h rear hope pro 3 hubs revs up front with comps rear laced to pacetti sl23 rims

    Have you received them yet?? How loud is the hope hub ;)

    The advice of the 2 mentioned is invaluable. Hence why cycleclinic got my business:) Hopefully he builtmy wheels yesterday ;)

    not received them yet, was deliberating over which hubs and in the end settled on the hopes as the hub noise would only be noticeable when freewheeling

    I've got the exact rims/hubs/spokes except in 28h front and rear.
    Built them up myself however left the final truing stage to my LBS.
    IME a great package these parts provide!

    The Pacenti rim looks very interesting. I have thought about bringing it in but it would be a more expensive version of the Archetype (a bit lighter) but given the archetype is so good I do not see it being worth the hassle. Still a good looking light weight rim.
