Not really my kind of music that...its not as bad as people are making it out to be though.
This is good though, a simple guitar riff, and it sounds epic.

I've got a compilation called Pure Bassline that I sometimes listen to a few tracks on... That's about as close to garage as I'll get.0

Ohh right, not being a huge fan of that sort of music i wouldnt know what mainstream and whats not.
I dont mind listening to that music, but i wouldnt sit down and listen to it like i would with other music. I would like that in the background on the radio while working on bikes or something More of a rock person myself really. Dont like the too heavy stuff, so im not emo!0 -

Used to love Speed garage back in the late 90's, Sneaker pimps Spin Spin Sugar, Tori Amos Professional Widow etc I think Armand Van Helden did the remixes if I remember correctly. Fark knows what they call it nowadays (god I sound old....).
This track brings back some memories from my old glow stick days and trying to mix on my mates 1200's, good times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-JyF1Mf5Vo . Proper jungle/D&B back then as well0 -

wait sorry, is that your example of main stream or your example of "proper d&b"0 -
Err, neither. It's my example of an actual drum and bass song not the kind GT thinks drum and bass is.0

Anyone into choral harmonies in da house?
Got to love me a good 80+ piece choir singing "The Rose".
Of course, there's really not much point in listening to anything except the greatest song ever made. You all know what it is. I make sure I listen to it for at least an hour a day, on the way to work.0
