New bike or keep Giant

Hey guys I currently have a 2010 Giant Defy 2 with Sora groupset.

Thinking of getting rid and getting something new, looking at about £800 to spend. I have seen these 2 so far:

Just want views on whether it is worth swapping or any other suggestions around the £800 mark!

Keep the bike' upgrade your wheels and tyres, then see what a difference it makes.
It will feel like a new bike, also maybe a full service as well so it feels like new too!
