Tarting my bike, some advice/opinion ?

Do you think red bartape and a red saddle on a black and white felt F4 will be too garish ?
I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast, but I'm intercontinental when I eat French toast...

    Don't do it. IMO and IME it doesn't look right.

    White , Black, Red colour combination can look awesome on a bike, but its easy to get wrong.

    The first picture is my original Planet X pro carbon were I went for the full Red saddle and bar tape combo and instantly regretted it

    The second picture is my new Fine Line version. again I ve made the same mistake with the red rubinos (they were cheap) , The decals are coming off the wheels (actually now got American Classics, but decals coming off them too and I m fitting Black tyres) Would like to get the same stem and seatpost as top picture to pic out red and white but that's about as much as it needs I think

    P.S Tripple fitted for a trip to Pyrenees , Standard now back on.

    Hmm, my frame is equal amounts black and white, I'll have a think. cheers for the insight.

    For comparison, my all black Pro Carbon 'Fineline', with de-stickered AL30 wheels:

    I do think some subtle red bits would be a good addition though.
