Campagnolo Ergolever- lost spring?

Yesterday having cycled along a rather bumpy road I realised the up shifting paddle of my right Chorus Ergolever had become all floppy and lost its spring which keeps it aligned with the brake lever. It still works to up shift but to down shift I have to hold it back in its original position. I've looked at a parts diagram. I think I need to replace a spring, anyone got any experience of how to do it / source the correct part?

Maybe the spring has gone out from its slot... it is pretty damn difficult to fit it, a real watchmaker job. I've done it twice and both times took me about an hour... best of luck!

Unfortunately Campag no longer sell the replacement shifter on it's own which cost £20 you now have to buy the whole body for around £100! So anyone who had a right hand shifter / which might be broken I would be interested in it for parts!
