Does anyone know where I can get a shim from to make my 105 front mech, clamp size 31.8mm, fit my frame which has a seat tube diameter of 28.6mm.

I could sell it and buy another one that fits but I was hoping that this might be an easier option.

Any advice welcome.

you can get shims, for instance...

...says out of stock, but if you search you can probably find alternative item/stockist, or try lbs they may have one in the spares box

    Thanks for the advice.

I asked at the lbs and they didn't have any but said they'd give me a call if one came in with a mech that they didn't need.

Can't find one anywhere on the Internet that's in stock...... Seems crazy.

I might start looking for a new mech.
