Hi
I do appreciate the subject of numb toes crops up time and time again, but hopefully I can keep it to saddle options rather than other remedies.
My question to those that have suffered from numb toes in the past and have alleviated it by changing saddles, I am keen to know what saddle they have switched too.
I have recently had my sit bones measured at a Spech Concept Store (came in at 140, which I assume is in 'mm') and they suggested I have a 155 or even a 168 size saddle. I went with a 155 Romin which is still work in progress as i'm only a few rides into it. Just scoping opinion now in case this hasn't achieved the aim.
Thank you
S

Get your feet measured for width. C is normal, D buy a shoe that "comes up wide", E welcome to the numb toes club and buy a shoe that is genuinely a wide fit.

Numb toes can be several different things. It could be width, shoes too tight/too loose (causing your feet to slide into the narrowest section), as well as it could be due to lack of support beneath the arch as well as behind the metatarsal head. If changing saddles helped in the past then it was probably a difference in height that made the difference. As even small changes can reduce pressure on the forefoot area.

I've been riding for years and never heard of a saddle giving numb toes. The only thing I could think is if its really too tall for you and you're struggling to get the pedals round at the bottom of the power stroke. You should be balanced on the saddle not cut in two by it ?

    Thanks for your replies guys.
This has been an on going, reoccurring problem for me for years. Both my road bikes have been professionally fitted to me so I don't see the issue with my saddle being too high. I am going down the saddle route as i've pretty much run out of ideas with everything else. I've been through 4 pairs of shoes of varying sizes and width but being riding a pair of Shimano wide fit for the last 12 months that are too big for me but I kind of settled on them out of desperation.
I've done a bit of reading on line about the issue of numb toes and there is a lot about the nerve running down to your toes and how that could be constricted on a poorly sized/shaped saddle, hence why I asked if a saddle has helped anyone out in the past.
    Totally appreciate all the advice.

Do you ride on the flat all day ? Just lifting out of the saddle should help things with constricted nerves.
