Hey
I'm attempting to do up my old orbea road bike. It has an older style 105 break calliper on the front. I bought some Clark's 55mm break pads but the pads are too long and hit the forks. The pads in the attachments are from a new 105 calliper and they too are also too long. Any ideas what pads will fit? Or are there some sort of spacers you can buy to bring the whole calliper away from the forks slightly?
Hmm can't upload a picture for some reason!
Much thanks in advance.
Steve.

Have you adjusted the cable at all? Barrel adjuster screwed all the way in? If the previous blocks were worn, it's possible the cable was clamped at a point which now makes it impossible to fit new blocks. If so, release the cable clamp and let a bit of cable through before re-tightening

Yeah, cheers. Even with no tention on the cable at all.
    Thanks for the idea though.

Sounds like you've got V-brake MTB pads. You need road-type pads.
