Ive got a Giant Trance X4 2011 model, on stock Kenda Nevegal 26x2.1" Stick E/DTC tyres. Im going LLandegla tomorrow and I was gonna buy an inner tube as at the mo ive not got a spare. Ive just seen one that looks really similar and it's tubless?

I can't seem to find the exact tyre online to help me?

Or would it say tubless on the tyre if it was?

makes no difference if your tyres are tubeless or not.

    do you have tubes fitted?

do you have a kit for fixing tubeless tyres?

you can fit tubes to tubeless tyres.

It's meant as a spare incase I get a puncture.

Don't know if it's got tubes fitted, hence my question.

makes no difference. other than you might need a tool to remove the valve if it is tubeless.

but again asking if a 2 year old bike is tubeless or not depends on what you have done to it or the previous owner.

    as above have a look.

That's pretty good going, 2 years without a puncture. I would say the chances of an x4 coming setup tubeless is slim to absolutely bugger all.

    Buy a tube.

I just bought a inner tube from Halfords just incase. My mates Anthem X3 is tubless that's why I aksed.

    I don't assume just because it's a 2011 model it's been ridden for 2 years, I bought it new in September. :D

Very few bikes come tubeless off the shelf, it'll have tubes.

If you don't know what your bike has now, you obviously haven't changed the tyre before. You should try removing the tyre and putting it back on while at home. Then you know what to expect when you need to do it for real!

Whether it's tubeless or not you want to be carrying a spare tube anyway.

Even X1s with UST wheels don't come set up tubeless. I had a puncture on my second ride.

    I stand corrected.

Conversely, you have done well to have not had a puncture since September

As said above, if you do run tubeless you should still carry a tube incase you encounter a problem.
