Supersix Red vs Focus Izalco Pro 1 vs Canyon

I'm considering a new bike. It going to be one of the following;

Cannondale Supersix Evo w/ Sram Red groupset - c.£3500

Focus Izalco pro 1.0 w Dura Ace - c.£2800

Or a comparable Canyon offering, money wise, which seems to get you a really really good spec of kit!! Specifically it would be like the above but with a set of Mavic R-Sys wheels or something.

Any ideas what I should go for?

  • The one you like the best. Go for the one YOU like the best.
    Wilier Cento Uno SR 2013 in Fluro Yellow
    Cannondale Caad10 2014 in BLACK!!
  • Bar the look of the bikes, and I think they all look great, I find it hard to make that judgement. What I like now might change after a 1000 miles in the saddle. Just thought I would garner other people's opinions. That's not to say yours isn't very relevant! Thanks
  • I've had a cannondale, so I'd probably try the focus.
    Wilier Cento Uno SR 2013 in Fluro Yellow
    Cannondale Caad10 2014 in BLACK!!
  • Go for the Evo with R-sys wheels.
    I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • That's not really an option. Canyon with the R-Sys wheels maybe, but the Evo comes with Krysiums at that price range.

    There are some Evo frames around the £1500 area. That gives you enough room to buy a groupset, wheels and cockpit for £3k or thereabouts.
