Skewer 'click'.

I have to secure the front skewer 'very' tightly to stop it 'clicking' when applying some power. Should using some grease be a suitable way off stopping it and allowing a looser grip?

Closed or open cam design? Try a drop of light oil on pivot points, and work back and forth for a few seconds. May do the trick.Ghost Race 5000 (2011) Shimano 105 Black

Just put a small amount of wet lube on the cams. It appears that the skewers were not so much 'tight' as 'stiff'.
All sorted, they close with ease.Team Madison Genesis Volare & Condor Super Acciaio0 -
