My little one is verging on being too heavy for the Hamax seat, and I'm not sure a move to a tag-along is right at the moment (as the adverts tend to say aged 4 upwards). I was considering getting a trailer, but my journey has a couple of busy junctions, and I have to say that I'm having second thoughts about chancing a low to the ground trailer with London school run mums in a hurry. It seems a bit Sinclair C5 to me with regard to car bumpers.

Has anyone got direct experience of using a trailer in traffic? Does it work, or does the stress to risk ratio ruin the idea (and your heart)?
