I replaced the BB that came with my Gossamer crankset with a cheaper (and compatible) 105 bottom bracket. It was a tightish fit to get the axle through but it's on now and works fine (if a little draggy).

Any idea how I can get the crankset off again? I need to pull the from the driveside and it needs something more sepcialised than elbow grease.

Ta.

Hyde mallet,, or plastic hammer I'd say but try support bb on frame under side

Strip the bike back so that you can lay the frame flat on blocks (of wood) to tap out with mallet perhaps.
Trying to do this with the bike in workstand with bike vertical ..harder shall we say
