Hey everyone.

Before anyone says go search the forums I've already done that..... and apart from finding a post from last week about some guy wanting a £150 MTB, a Suit and a Haircut, I couldn't find anything which answered my question...... So!

My GF wants to get into Cycling. She's of the school of thought now that if she can't beat em, join em... So given the current "thing" she has is a 15 year old Steel framed rigid fork Raleigh with 15 gears, its not really up to anything other than cycling on the road. It weighs about the same as I do, and it's really making her not enjoy cycling at all, hence the reason she complains about not enjoying the ride out in the countryside!

So with that in mind I'm trying to find a bike which is of a reasonable price, max budget is £200. I hear the Decathlon Rockrider 5.2 is the best, but is it suited for women? I must admit owning the B'Twin Triban 3 road bike, I can't fault the value for money / components that Decathlon offer on their budget bikes....

She's 5' tall so I am thinking the Small frame would be best.....

Does anyone have any experience of women riding these bikes? is the geometry OK for our female counterparts?

I want her to catch the bug and start enjoying getting out on and about :)

Any other suggestions for bikes would be appreciated, but I know the budget is pretty limiting.... (she doesn't want one like mine with the "bouncy thing on the back" ...... LOL)
It's been a while...
