Felt's are quality bikes for the money. The Z series is a "comfort" geometry road bike where as the F series has a more aggressive race geometry. One downside to this deal is that the Z series frame designs were updated for 2013 so this 2012 is the older style frame. Still a very nice bike for the money. The CXP22 wheels are strong and good looking, if on the heavy side. Gearing is very wide ratio with an 11-32 cassette. Full specs here http://2012.feltracing.com/Internationa ... s/Z75.aspx

The Felts are good value for money at full price so with £300 off, it's a great deal. The Felt will also have a high quality finish, with smooth welds and a great paintjob. The CAAD8 is a great bike too, but 10 speed Apex is a step up over 9 speed Sora. In fact some would say Apex is on the level of Shimano 105.I don't like the look of the Merlin at all: generic alu frame with a non matching fork and some components slapped on - swerve it.
