Recommended bike fit around Surrey/Kent border?

I'd like to get a bike fit, but I have a few questions first.
The first is - is a bike fit worth it if you're keeping your current bike? I can't afford, nor want, to change my bike, so I understand that any bike fit would be a compromise between the 'ideal setup' for me, and what I can actually achieve.
Secondly, can anyone recommend any places for a proper bike fit, near to me? I'm on the East side of Surrey, so can quite readily get to Kent/Surrey/Sussex border area. I'd looked at Cycle Ops in Tonbridge, which isn't that far.
Finally, what can I expect from a 'good' on-the-bike bike fit? I'm going there specifically because I have concerns over a few niggles and aches, plus I feel like one of my legs is fractionally longer than the other (no joke) and so my right leg is stronger than my left.
Finally, what should I be prepared to pay?

isn't there a bike science over that way? they do retul I think? I'd expect to pay around 150-200.
As for whether they're worth it, many people say they are. I've never had one and it doesn't seem to hold me back!0
