Hello!
I have just had my new bike for about 3 weeks now, a claud butler cape wrath 02 2012, I am in desperate need for a set of front and rear mud guards, I like riding in the cycle routes, canals, muddy roads, but now i just get mud all over my bike and my body after each ride, and it just didnt feel right when I turned up at my friend's house covered in mud!
I have looked into different options but I feel there are so many and I dont know which one is best to keep mud and rocks off! is the combo of mucky nutz bender fender + crud raceguard rear guard any good? or is there better ones? I think for rear guard i don't want a seat post mounted one sinces theres not much space there...
I think it is easier to just put the photos on!
Are those holes at the rear for mudguards? and the screw at the front ? or is that front one for light reflector  ??
Thanks in advance!

Holes at the rear are for a rack. Best coverage would be something like this at the rear (decathlon do a cheaper one):

and an SKS Shockboard/blade at the front. Mucky Nutz and Crud Catchers do a good job of keeping crap off your face, but not much more.0 -

These are excellent on the front
Those look like a copy of the mucky nutz bender fender.0 -
They are, except they use cable ties which they don't supply instead of velcro bands which mucky nutz do supply.0

And Mucky Nutz are selling older models at £4.99 inc postage (and Butt Fenders). Total bargain.I don't do smileys.

The older model is what i have and it works very well. I reccomend it.
Can't comment on the Butt Fender as i don't have it.0 -
I'm leaving my front one on all year round, it is doing a good job of preventing gravel and dirt from being kicked up into my face as well as water and mud.0

I've recently fitted the mucky nutz one its small doesn't look out of place and does a good job of keeping dirt out of face

Keeps a lot of gunge off the stanchions as well. Great little piece of kit.I don't do smileys.

Loss the reflector and get a crud catcher on instead0
