YouView box

Morning all,
any of you out there use You view box at all??? looking at getting one through BT, is a fiver a month ontop of our infinity package at the mo, just wanted to know the general consensus on them, worth a fiver a month and the £50 box price???

From my understanding it's jusr a freeview box that records and has things like bbc iplayer...

I came back from uni one weekend and found a youview box instead of the usual Sky. It's allright I suppose, but don't expect much from the 'On Demand'. Its handy to be able to record, and watch 4OD and the likes but I still prefer Sky. There's also channels like Fox that you won't get.

Apart from Dexter, Game of Thrones and True Blood what else is on Sky that's actually worth paying for.

Can't wait to get rid of Sky, overpriced junk.

On YouView, if your watching a channel, say 102, and you press up to see whats on channel 103, it actually goes down to 101. Bugs the life outta me!

after chatting to a few peeps locally and chatting to a tech guy at bt, went for the vision box as for a couple of quid extra got a load of decent channels! the youvision box is a good deal as your paying less than half retail for it including the 12months package and at the end of the 12m the box is yours to do with what you wish!
