Best bike for £1000

Hi all open to suggestions max budget £1000 or just over bike will be used for cycling to work, xc and the odd trial looking for 100mm travel any more would be over kill also has to be a hardtail and on cws many thanks

Thought of the boardmans but not available on my works c2w scheme plus 120mm of travel

Er well done Einstein. That's what I said. Give enough info or people will recommend good deals, not what's available to him, on whichever scheme.
And as a rule the limit is £1000.

And which scheme - there are a number and not all shops work with all schemes.

Ah ha but who decides like I said my employer has said they have'nt got a problem I even know of two employee's who have both brought cubes over the 1000 pound limit and even still pauls cycles said yes as long as my employer didn't have a problem, but what do you think of the reaction sl 999.99 better fork, wheels but not carbon frame?

Don't really know much about the c2w malarkey but yeah the reaction sl has better forks and wheels by the looks of it but imo it really depends if you want a carbon frame or not tbh.
