I've decided short sleeves all year round aren't working..

So need a long sleeve top. I have a bloody good short sleeve castelli top and really want a castelli long sleeve but they have changed their names and no idea what to look at.

I am though open to other brands if they do stand out.

It must be not thermal but windproof would be good.
No crazy £120 ones, under 100 please or gf will kill me

Why not just get some arm warmers? Then wear a gilet over the ss and you are good to go? Easy to remove if it gets too hot?

^-^ V Good option. I tend to find I go with this more than a long sleeve, plus is the same for summer weather too.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

+1 on the arm warmers too.

Good for spring and autumn early starts, when you can take them off. Also, if you get decent windproof ones, you can use them with a short sleeve jersey, long sleeve base layer and gilet right through the winter.

I've been using a long-sleeve base layer underneath my short sleeve top. Similarly, base layer leggings (tights?) underneath my standard cycling shorts.

Seems to work for me :-)

Are you trying to bankrupt the poor man? He did specify under £100.

Lol its less about money and about how much I'm spending on cycling compared to her :-P

I was originally going to get arm warmers but worried that like my Gore leg warmers they will cause irritation.

I'm thinking of getting castelli nano ones to match my lovely gabba jacket.

Any one got them or know of a good pair? (No assos please!)

Ah, I didn't realise it was a competition. If I was competing with my mrs on who can spend the most on a hobby I would win easily! just ordered some DHB Vaeon leg warmers as it happens which get good reviews.

I got a Funkier top for half price recently - 15 quid - and its perfectly good. The quality really is pretty good. JE James or Rutland cycling I think.
