    For what type of rim?

For carbon I use SwissStop Black Prince and they are outstanding!
  • Alloy rim.
Currently have Ultegra which have been fine but they are running a bit low, so looking to see if there is anything better or just go with the stock pads again.

Have a look at the SwissStop pads that are designed for alloy rims.

Nowt wrong with the Ultegra pads though.

SwissStop Green for AL. Ultegra pads didn't last long and weren't half as good in the wet.

+1. Replaced the rubbish stock ones with KoolStop salmons last year and loved them. Then tried some SwissStops which are good, but seem to wear the rims down a lot more.

Just ordered a new set of KoolStops and will be sticking with them in future. Only thing is as they're softer, they're easier on your rims but the pads do wear down a lot quicker.

That said I ordered the new KoolStop Ultra 2s that are supposed to be thicker than the old Ultras, and they're now flat without the flared "cleaning" bit on the back.

Was swissstop green (or black for decent value)

Now the blue BXP pads are the newest and best in the line up... If you can get hold of them. Ask your LBS.

Got some on the summer bike but not seen daylight yet! Obviously!
